Progress made possible.

When we view each child through a whole-child lens and offer the right support, real and lasting progress follows.

Communication

Communication

When Chaim arrived at Lev V’Limud, he did not yet have expressive language. Mrs. Chavy Armon, MS Ed, recognized his potential for alternative communication and brought in Mrs. Miriam Wolner, a top AAC specialist in Monsey. Mrs. Wolner set up an AAC device and worked with Mrs. Sarah Landwirt, SLP, to train the staff on supporting Chaim throughout the day. Within weeks, he was using three-word phrases to communicate.

Chaim now communicates confidently every day.

Engagement

Engagement

Leah’s parents were previously told she could not participate in structured lessons or group activities. Rivka Rottenberg, DIR-certified Floortime consultant, trained Leah’s 1:1 providers, BCBA, and other therapists to connect with her by mirroring her emotions and identifying what motivated her. Mrs. Chavy Armon also used a relationship-based approach in her lessons, helping Leah learn to read and write bilingually. Today, Leah participates fully in group activities, bringing energy and joy to the classroom.

Leah now shines in every group activity.

Regulation

Regulation

Gitty joined Lev V’Limud struggling with emotional and sensory regulation, often relying on her teddy bear to cope. Mrs. Chavy Armon and Mrs. Rochella Gans, BCBA, collaborated with Rikki Spivak, OT, to create a structured schedule with sensory breaks so that Gitty felt safe and supported. As she began to feel regulated, Gitty’s confidence grew and she became ready to engage in learning.

Gitty is now confident, calm, and excited to learn.

Routine

Routine

Aliza is an adolescent who had no prior success following a school routine before joining Lev V’Limud. Through individualized, reliable instruction in a warm environment, Mrs. Chavy Armon, MS Ed, along with her team helped her build consistency, confidence, and strong academic foundations. Aliza learned to sound out and write letters in both the Hebrew and English alphabets, while developing turn-taking skills and greater awareness of others.

Aliza can now consistently follow a schedule.
